We are currently looking for an Accounts Executive to manage our financial records and assist with bookkeeping. If you consider yourself a meticulous person with an eye for detail, and if you feel confident about monitoring financial records and compiling reports, then do speak to us. This role offers a good degree of flexibility and is therefore ideal for whoever is looking for such a work arrangement.

Typical duties for this post include:

  • Work closely with the management team, providing regular updates about the company’s financial records
  • Assist the financial accounting and auditing function
  • Present accounting issues and results to the management
  • Chase debtors and collect payments due
  • Prepare accounting reports and track accounts payable
  • Effect deposits and keep records relating to accounts receivable
  • Make ledger entries and ensure accuracy of all transactions
  • Reconcile accounts and balance company financials
  • Payroll processing

Some other qualities and skills we are after include:

  • Knowledge of accounting systems, terminology and legislation
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of accounting software
  • Experience with bookkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and vendors
  • Able to work within a team and on own initiative
  • A-Level (or equivalent) in Accounting or currently undertaking ACCA
  • Experience in Accounting is an asset
